Accounts Payable and Payroll Coordinator

The National School Boards Association seeks an experienced accounting specialist to support accounts payable and payroll processes. Responsibilities include maintaining accounts payable system and preparing check disbursements; processing bi-weekly payroll; overseeing and reconciling purchasing card transactions; preparing miscellaneous journal entries and reconciliation of monthly general ledger; and maintaining files of disbursements and petty cash funds.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in accounts payable and payroll processing; proficiency with computerized accounting systems; excellent communication and organization skills. Experience with ADP and Great Plains systems preferred.
