NSBA's mission is "Working with and through our State Associations, NSBA Advocates for Equity and Excellence in Public Education through School Board Leadership."
NSBA's vision is "National leadership that encourages outstanding school board governance to achieve student success."
NSBA's policies are determined by a 150-member Delegate Assembly and reflected in its Constitution & Bylaws, Beliefs & Policies and Resolutions. The 25-member Board of Directors translates the policies into action.
