"Dorchester taxpayers group opposes alternative school funding."

This article describes the ongoing debate over the alternative school financing used by some South Carolina schools. Some anti-tax organizations continue to raise questions about the propriety of the approach, likening the financing to "junk bonds" and charging that it is "like giving a child an unlimited credit card." The groups emphasize that they "are not against new schools."
