NSBA's Council of Urban Boards of Education (CUBE) held its 2007 Issues Seminar, June 21-24, 2007 in New York City. They focused on what is on the forefront of every urban school board member's and superintendent's agenda — an urgent need for skilled teachers and skilled principals working together toward the goal of improving student achievement.

This year's Issues Seminar sessions included:
