Meeting Opportunities
Throughout the year, NSBA offers professional development opportunities for its leadership and staff. For a full list of NSBA meetings, including State Association staff work-alike meetings, please visit the NSBA Calendar of Events. 

• Leadership Conference - An annual professional development and networking opportunity designed for NSBA’s State Association members each January/February. Attendees include NSBA Board of Directors, state school boards association officers as identified by the executive director, and NSBA international partner associations leaders.  For additional information, please contact Kanisha Williams-Jones. 

• FRN Conference - Join school board members from across the country in Washington, D.C. and speak together—as one collective voice—  at the only national legislative conference for school board members each January/February. More  than 700 school board members advocate for their students to members of Congress and their key staff during NSBA’s Day on Capitol Hill.  For additional information, please contact Kathleen Branch. 

•  NSBA Annual Conference Exposition - Held each Spring (March/April), this national event brings together over 5,000 state association leaders, local school board members, superintendents, and other district leaders and national thought-leaders for three days filled with educational programming and an exhibition showcasing the latest products and services.  Do you have questions related to Annual Conference?
